The Hardlines Technology Forum, the industry’s premier technology conference, continued to grow in importance in 2010. Attendees enjoyed learning and networking in a professional, yet fun, environment!
As you can see in the slideshow, HTF brought all segments of the hardware / home improvement industry together for three exciting and productive days of sessions and interactive discussions at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel in Schaumburg, IL from April 18 through April 21, 2010.
Attendees participated in approximately 40 sessions and events, presented in three tracks: Supply Chain Management, Technology Trends and Innovations and The Business Side of Technology. A highlight of the conference, once again, was The Buyer Panel session. This year’s participants, all on stage together to answer attendee questions, included representatives from Ace Hardware Corporation; BlueLinx Corporation; Do-it-Best Corporation, Lowe’s Companies and True Value Company.
Dave Patzwald, Vice President, IPO Integration Services at Schneider Electric gave an energetic keynote address, complete with a surprise co-presenter in the person of professional comedian Dave Little, focused on the topic of “Making IT Fun Again.”
